Why is the sports cap made out of plastic and not stainless steel?
Teeth. We wanted to protect your teeth with our choice of polypropylene #5 because it has no known leaching characteristics and it is soft if you hit a bump on the road.
Is it ok to put hot liquids in my Aquasteel Bottle?
No. Aquasteel bottles are single walled and should not be used for holding hot liquids. Warm beverages can be used but at a personal comfort level. The single-walled construction allows more volume and even an option to put your bottle on a flame.
Can I put my Aquasteel Bottle in the freezer?
We do not recommend this and it will void your manufacturer’s warranty.
Can I put my Aquasteel bottle on a stove?
Yes, you can put it on fire or a stove. Beware that you can melt the plastic lid or burn yourself.
